I'll be heading to PA for Christmas in a few minutes so while I'll probably get a chance to blog some, but not to update ahoy-matey.com. So in the meantime enjoy Chapter 2 of Dayspring, and the Captain Jibidy Holiday Spectacular. Have a great holiday everyone!

For anyone who spent the day working, I scoff at them - we spent it watching the Numa Numa dance (it so addictive) Link down below somewhere.

My other favorite site of the day:
"It's a Wonderful Life in 30 second reenacted by Bunnies"
Cute little flash on newgrounds about the G to the O to the D.

Only Superhuman
"The game was like Hamlet, a suspense thriller, and I killed them" - some oh so literary NBA player on Sportscenter.

Plus the Dolphins beat the Pats! Only two 13-1 teams left and I believe they're both from PA! Lets go Steeltown!

Wow... did not see this one coming -

"Fox pages Turner to pen Magneto spinoff pic - Twentieth Century Fox has set Sheldon Turner to draft "Magneto," an action-thriller based on the villainous character played in the first two "X-Men" films by Ian McKellen...The original "X-Men" film began with a prologue that showed his character as a child being led to a concentration camp by Nazis, and that is the period in which the Magneto film will take place. This setup will allow a future villain to at least flirt with the designation of protagonist. Since the character will be seen almost exclusively in his formative years, it is not clear whether McKellen will be in the film at all.

"I pitched a film that is almost 'The Pianist' meets 'X-Men,' about a guy who, after watching his family slaughtered, has an awakening of his powers and seeks revenge," Turner said.

"Storyline will heavily involve Professor X, the wheelchair-using X-Men leader played in the films by Patrick Stewart. That character was a soldier in the allied force that liberated the concentration camps. The professor meets Magneto after the war, and while they bond over the realization that they are alike in their special powers, their differences soon turn them into enemies. read the rest of the Variety story here

The new Marvel Previews magazine is calling "New Avengers the biggest comic of 2005" - that's interesting, because only one issue is out, and 2005 hasn't started - much less finished!
